Curtis is a life-long technology entrepreneur, having started his first company at 19. He has founded companies and served in executive technical, operational, and business development positions both in the UK and overseas. Curtis brings particular expertise in mobile application development, mobile telecommunications solutions and real-time communications such as instant messaging for the financial services sector.
Pim Dale
Chairman
Pim has a successful track record of creating and building high-growth international businesses. Prior to joining the Compliant Phones board, Pim was VP and General Manager at Dell where he was responsible for growing revenues from $100 million to $3 billion per annum in emerging European, Middle-East and African markets. Prior to joining Dell, Pim held senior roles at Sun Microsystems and began his career at Hewlett Packard. Pim graduated in Chemistry and holds an MBA in international business and marketing.
David Leftley
Director
David is Principal at Vodafone Ventures, where he leads Vodafone’s technology investment activities in the UK, Israeli and Scandinavia. David joined Vodafone in 1998 to lead the evaluation and introduction of 3G and has since influenced key strategic initiatives and investments ranging from fixed-mobile convergence to mobile health. David brings to Compliant Phones, over 25 years experience in start-ups and PLCs in the UK and USA. In 2010 David was named in Wired’s Top 100 Influencers list. David is a Chartered Engineer and holds an Honours degree in Electrical Engineering from Aston University.
Colin Watts
Director
Colin is Investment Director at Oxford Capital Partners, where he is responsible for investments in the information and communications sectors. He brings to the team a combination of deep market knowledge gained in the telecoms industry and extensive international transactional experience. Previously Colin has held investment management positions with Cisco Systems Inc, DFJ ePlanet and TLcom Capital. Colin graduated from Nottingham University with first class honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
Mark Tracey
Chief Financial Officer
Mark has over twenty years experience in senior strategic and financial management roles. Prior to joining Compliant Phones Mark spent twenty years in senior finance management and consulting roles within the computing, telecommunications and media sectors—including senior roles at Microsoft, Telebit and Cognos. Mark is a member of the Association of Chartered Accountants and the New Zealand Society of Accountants.
Ryan Shuttleworth
CTO
Ryan has 15 years experience in technology companies, having worked for silicon-valley startups, NASDAQ-listed companies and multinationals such as IBM and Cisco. Ryan has a deep skillset in technical sales & marketing, strategic product management and solution design & architecture. Ryan has held a variety of CTO and COO positions. Prior to joining Compliant Phones, Ryan was partner and cofounder of technology consultancy Cobalt Storm. Ryan holds a Masters in Engineering Management and Software Engineering from Exeter University.
Ian Hook
VP Marketing
Ian has spent 20 years in senior consulting, strategic planning, sales and marketing roles for international technology companies and startups. Prior to joining Compliant Phones, Ian was partner at Strategic Marketing Advice LLP, providing demand generation and strategic planning consulting to UK, European and US technology companies. Ian holds an honours degree in engineering and an MBA from Warwick University. He is a Member of the UK Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Sunny Singh
VP Global Sales and Business Development
Sunny has over twenty years experience in business development and expansion through marketing, direct and indirect sales for blue-chip organisations including Xerox, Sun and Oracle. His experience also includes entrepreneurial roles in the areas of financial trading, gaming and mobile innovation where he held various board-level and operational positions. Recognised for innovation and customer focus, Sunny is a regular speaker, business strategist and adviser to the venture capital community.
Nick Wilkinson
VP Sales
Nick has spent 20 years working in enterprise telecoms for leading CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) and telephony specialists. An early evangelist of Inline Mobile Recording™, he also brings particular expertise in defining and implementing unified communications, contact centre and other CTI-based solutions for organisations in the government, manufacturing, retail and financial services sectors.
